Imphal, April 24: A protest organized by the Manipur Pradesh Youth Congress in Imphal today turned chaotic as clashes broke out between protesters and police. The demonstration, which began at Congress Bhawan, was held in response to the recent terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir, that killed 26 people, including security personnel.

Protesters blamed Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah for the incident, accusing them of negligence. Sarifa Rehman, AICC Youth General Secretary and in-charge of Manipur, called for accountability and stronger national security measures.
