Shillong, June 7: A 17-year-old missing girl was rescued by the East Khasi Hills police from Bihar yesterday.

The girl who resides in Shillong had gone missing from her residence since December 21, 2022.

In this connection, a case was registered with the Laban police station, District SP Sylvester Nongtnger said today.

“On acquiring some clues on the matter, a police team from East Khasi Hills District led by Inspector KP Singh, OC Laitumkhrah PS proceeded to Bihar in search of the missing girl and recovered her yesterday from Vaishali district, Bihar,” he said.
