Shillong, March 28: UDP legislator from Mokaiaw Nujorki Sungoh has demanded the immediate shifting of the Sub-Division Number-1 of the PWD Shangpung Divison Office located in Jowai.

Raising a supplementary query in the Assembly, Sungoh said, "I request the Deputy Chief Minister to look into the matter so that the sub-division comes to my constituency."

He also assured the government that there will be no issue in as far as the land for shifting sub-division number - 1 is concerned.

In his reply, Deputy Chief Minister in charge of PWD (Roads) Prestone Tynsong said that shifting of the sub-division number-1 is under examination

He said that the sub-division is looking after two constituencies - Raliang and Mokaiaw.
