AICC media coordinator Bobbeeta Sharma told reporters that the BJP and NPP were only making a political drama during the elections by saying they are not working together but the fact is they are always together.
She however said now the BJP has fallen in their own trap by saying that the NPP is the most corrupt government in the country.
“So let the BJP answer if NPP is the most corrupt government in the country…so let them decide,” Sharma said while asking, “When somebody is corrupt you always put the ED, the CID and CBI and everybody after them so why not after this NPP government, why not after the CM?”
Stating that the AICC media chairman Jairam Ramesh had already written to the CBI to investigate Amit Shah’s allegation that Meghalaya is the number one corrupt state in the country, Sharma said, “Let them decide.”
She said that Congress will wait for the response on the letter to the CBI before taking a decision on their next course of action.
