Shillong: The Disability Assessment Camp was organized at Dadenggre C & RD Block, Dadenggre recently in collaboration with District Social Welfare Officer, Tura and other line departments.

Further, Aadhar enrolment, MHIS enrolment, Aabha Card enrolment was also conducted during the camp to garner maximum enrolment and also enabling the beneficiaries to avail benefits from the schemes provided by the government.

The District Social Welfare Officer, Tura Madonna T Sangma informed that about 75 persons with disabilities have registered from the area where 26 persons registered for Locomotor Disability, 17 persons for Intellectual Disability, 16 persons for ENT, 16 persons for Visual impairment including 5 persons for Aadhar enrolment, 35 for Abha Card and 11 persons for MHIS enrolment.
