Shillong, June 15: Chaivalry Lartang has been crowned Miss Universe Meghalaya 2025 in a dazzling ceremony held on June 14 at Hotel Vivanta, Khyndailad, Shillong. Organised by the Miss Meghalaya Organisation under the aegis of the Meghalaya Tourism Youth Development Society (MTYDS), the event brought together talented contestants from across the state.
Chaivalry, who previously earned the title of 1st Runner-Up at Miss Meghalaya 2024, impressed the judges with her grace, confidence, and stage presence. She will now represent Meghalaya at the prestigious Miss Universe India 2025 pageant.
The state-level competition was jointly conducted by MTYDS and Miss Universe India. The jury panel included Amjad Khan, Director of Franchise Operations for Miss Universe India; Aqsa Varghese, Miss Universe Kerala 2024; and Irene Dkhar, Miss Tourism India.
Following her win, Chaivalry will undergo professional grooming and training in Delhi as she prepares to compete on the national stage.
Organisers praised her achievement, calling her a “true ambassador of Meghalaya’s beauty, talent, and spirit,” and expressed their confidence in her potential to shine at the national level.
